SOFTGAMES is looking for a Data Engineer (Mid-Sen Level) - Fully Remote to help build and optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for our data analysts and business teams. You'll play a vital part in ensuring we have the data to be able to make critical decisions for our games that reach tens of millions of players each month, pretty exciting! - For this position, the candidate must be based in a time-zone with a 4 hours overlap with Berlin, Germany. Your role: - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Airflow - Support data analysts by ensuring they have clean, structured, and well-documented data - Manage and optimize Tableau dashboards, ensuring seamless data exports and reporting - Develop ETL workflows and data integrations using Python - Monitor data quality, optimize performance and cost efficiency - Take responsibility for the smooth operation and reliability of the data platform - Work with cloud-based data solutions (AWS) Your profile: - 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering - Strong skills in Databricks/Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Python and Apache Flowform - - Experience with SQL and cloud-based data platforms - Familiarity with Tableau and managing data exports for reporting - Proficiency in conceptualizing and designing data platforms tailored to business needs - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment - Experience in the Games Industry Benefits: SOFTGAMES offers a competitive package, including: - Remote-first, your way — Work fully remote from wherever you do your best work
