From well-established franchises like Supremacy, BIG, and Jawaker to niche games, we span multiple genres, including strategy, simulation, RPG, action, and casual and mash-up games. We believe gaming can be a force for good, and we want to create a gaming universe that is digital, affordable, equal, and sustainable. To achieve this, we focus on developing games that are all about having a rewarding hobby, a great social experience, or a strategic challenge. Stillfront was founded in 2010, and since then, we’ve grown rapidly. Our professionals thrive in an organization that embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship, and we’re proud to connect and empower game teams around the world. Our HQ is in Stockholm, Sweden, but our game development is done by teams and studios all over the world. Our main markets are the US, Japan, MENA, Germany, and the UK. We’re proud that our company shares are listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Large Cap. YOUR MISSION This is a strategic leadership role that puts you in charge of the rewards philosophy for a complex, decentralized, and international group: designing the frameworks, owning the programs, and advising Group Executive Management (GEM) and the HR Business Partner community. Payroll and equity execution sits with outsourced partners. Your job is to set the direction, own the quality, and keep our people decisions grounded in data and market insight. You will build and own the rewards and workforce planning function for Stillfront. In practice, that means: - Job architecture: Design and implement a job framework for the whole group: levels, families, career paths. What you build becomes the backbone of how we hire, pay, develop, and promote across our organization. - Salary benchmarking: Establish a benchmarking capability. Select the right data sources and tools, run regular benchmarking cycles, and give the business clear, evidence based guidance on where we are competitive and where we are not. - Incentive programs: Own the design, communication, and execution of our group incentive programs: GIP, ESPP, and LTIP. These programs are live and growing, and they need a strategic owner who understands both the mechanics and the employee experience. - Equity and payroll: Own the vendor relationships for equity administration and payroll outsourcing. You will not run these yourself, but you are accountable for what comes out of them: Quality, accuracy, and employee trust are the measures. - EU Pay Transparency Directive: Lead the group's compliance plan. With nearly 500 people in Germany and significant headcount across other EU jurisdictions, this is an immediate priority with real legal and reputational stakes. You will need to understand the Directive in depth and turn it into action across the group. - Workforce planning: Partner with the HRBP team and with Finance to build a workforce planning capability, linking headcount needs to business strategy and giving leadership integrated answers about the total cost and composition of the workforce. - Strategic advisory: Be a trusted advisor to GEM and to the HRBPs on all rewards, compensation, and workforce matters. We will expect you to have a view, to challenge where it matters, and to translate complexity into clear recommendations. YOUR BACKSTORY - Deep experience in compensation and rewards, ideally in an international setting or across multiple entities. You are not a generalist who has touched

Support us in Agentic Analytics for a New Mobile Game! We're not looking for someone who has "built a dashboard". We're looking for someone who already uses agentic workflows as a core part of how they work: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, custom agents, MCP servers, skills, planning loops, review gates, and AI-assisted engineering. Someone with strong opinions on which AI workflows hold up in production and which fall apart when real decisions depend on the numbers. You'll bring that practice to the AI-native analytics ecosystem of a brand-new mobile game. You'll define how gameplay, monetization, attribution, and player behavior data are collected, structured, and transformed into trustworthy insights, automated reporting, and AI-powered analytics tools. Set the Agentic Bar - Help define how the wider engineering organization adopts agentic practices. - Establish standards for tooling, review processes, quality gates, and what "done" means when agents generate most of the implementation. YOUR BACKSTORY - Several years of experience building analytics or data-driven systems in production environments, ideally in gaming or mobile. - Deep comfort with LLMs, agents, and AI-assisted engineering workflows in production environments. - Hands-on experience using agentic workflows and AI coding tools in real-world projects. - The ability to discuss concretely how you: - structure prompts and context, - manage autonomous and multi-agent workflows, including when to intervene, - use MCP servers, custom tools, skills, or subagents, - review AI-generated code and queries without becoming a bottleneck. - Strong experience working with behavioral, transactional, or event-based da

Senior Java Backend & DevOps Engineer

Negotiable

We're not looking for someone who has "used CoPilot." We're looking for a Senior Java Backend & DevOps Engineer who already runs agentic workflows as a core part of how they ship – multiple Claude Code / Codex / Cursor agents in parallel, custom subagents, MCP servers, skills, planning loops, review gates – and who has opinions about which patterns actually work in production versus which ones look good in demos. You'll bring that practice to backend systems that keep entire game worlds alive for millions of players. Always-on, low-latency, unpredictable load. Real player impact when something is off by 20 ms. In this role you'll join Goodgame Studios – self-published MMO strategy titles, 200M+ registered players, €1B+ in lifetime revenue, part of Stillfront Group, one of Europe's leading game publishers. THE ROLE You own backend services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, infrastructure, deployment, production, scaling. The difference from a traditional senior role is leverage – you're expected to operate at 10–20× the throughput of a classical engineer by orchestrating agents rather than typing every line yourself. You stay the architect and the reviewer. The agents do the volume. YOUR MISSION - Design and operate high-throughput, low-latency Java services (JDK 17+) on AWS, K8s, Terraform, ArgoCD. - Build resilient distributed components and tune memory, concurrency, and GC for real production workloads. - Architect MySQL and Redis layers handling millions of player rows. - Own CI/CD, observability, and on-call for systems you ship. - Run an agentic workflow that holds up under code review: precise specs, tight feedback loops, generated tests, validation gates, your judgement as the final filter on architecture, security, and performance. - Help define how the rest of the engineering org adopts agentic practices – tooling, review standards, what "done" means when an agent wrote 80% of the diff. YOUR PROFILE - 6+ years backend Java, expert level. Distributed systems, concurrency, GC tuning, SQL optimisation are second nature. - Deep AWS and cloud-native stack (K8s, Docker, Terraform). - A real agentic coding practice. You can talk concretely about: how you structure prompts and context for long-running tasks, when you let an agent run autonomously vs. when you intervene, how you manage multi-agent setups, what you've built with MCP / custom tools / skills, and how you review agent-generated code without becoming a bottleneck. - Strong analytical decomposition – the ability to turn fuzzy product asks into precise constraints both humans and agents can execute against. - Architectural judgement. You design clean, resilient systems; you don't just accept whatever the agent produces. - Highly proficient in English. - Seeking full-time remote roles (within Germany, valid German visa required) or Freelance opportunities within the German timezone (CET/CEST). Nice to have - Gaming backend experience (matchmaking, inventories, leaderboards, economy services). - Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS/SNS). - Real-time telemetry or anti-che

Head of Game Design

As Head of Game Design at Twin Harbour Interactive, you're the person the franchise's design quality runs through. You set the bar across the full portfolio, build the systems that hold it, and develop the designers who deliver it. The design decisions that shape this franchise over the next five years will come from the team you develop and the standard you set. You'll lead a team of Game Design Leads across four live titles and make sure the discipline grows alongside the franchise. You report directly to the Executive Director of Production. For fifteen years, the Supremacy Franchise has been earning its players' trust one campaign at a time. Keeping that going takes more than great designers. It takes someone who can build a team that consistently knows what good looks like, and has the standards and culture to back it up. That's this role. About the Supremacy Franchise The Supremacy Franchise has reached over 90 million players lifetime, with 2.2 million monthly active users and 300,000+ concurrent commanders in peak campaigns. Our mission: deliver best-in-class strategy worlds that challenge, engage, and reward players over weeks, months, and years. The franchise spans four live titles: Supremacy: 1914, Supremacy: Call of War 1942, Supremacy: WW3, and Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000. Each game has its own community and its own design challenges. Your discipline is what ties them together. YOUR MISSION - Lead the Game Design Department — Your Game Design Leads are your direct reports, and your impact runs through them. Sort out friction early, before it becomes someone else's problem. - Own the Craft Standard — Define and enforce the design quality bar across all productions. Look at who gets heard, who gets developed, and who gets the stretch assignments. - Make Feedback Real — Keep it timely and grounded in the work, not a box-ticking exercise. Stay close enough to both the team and the game to catch signals early, and use data and instinct together to act before they become bigger problems. - Lead with Clarity — Clarity is how trust gets built and ownership becomes real. Set the tone across the department, make sure the franchise's direction is understood by the people executing it, and surface problems early. - Drive AI Adoption — Actively find where AI tools can improve design workflows, prototyping, and iteration speed. Model the behavior. Bring the team with you. YOUR BACKSTORY - Deep, firsthand knowledge of strategy games, grand strategy, 4X, or adjacent, on PC or mobile, as a player and as a designer. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the VP Technology. You will be the most senior engineering leader for all game-facing engineers. Reporting directly to the VP Technology you will hold the engineering people leadership for the game organization outright, and you build the department that builds the games. Portfolio and strategy - Partner with the VP Technology and Head of Platform to define and own the technical strategy for game engineering across all live titles and new development. - Manage engineering staffing allocation across all titles balancing live ops growth against new development velocity, and proactively surfacing capacity and coverage risks. - Stay current with trends in engineering culture, developer experience, and new ways of working; bring what's relevant back into the organisation. Delivery partnership - Partner with peer Heads of Department: Art, Design, and others. You represent the engineering organisation's constraints, capacity, and standards in those conversations, and you are accountable for making sure engineering reality shapes decisions early enough to matter rather than arriving as bad news after commitments have been made. - Act as the escalation point when game-level leads encounter cross-title conflicts or decisions that need senior engineering judgment. Growth Marketing Specialist (Web-to-App Funnels)

Negotiable

Nanobit is a Zagreb-based mobile entertainment studio and part of Stillfront Group. For 15+ years we've built games and interactive stories played by tens of millions of people worldwide. We're now expanding into a new product category: short-form vertical drama for mobile audiences. We're building it with the same craft and audience focus that has defined our games. About the role We’re building a short-form drama app featuring AI-generated vertical series. A key part of how the product grows is web-to-app funnels: landing pages where viewers discover a story, engage, subscribe, and then continue in the app. Your job is to create, test, and optimise these funnels. The short drama category is new, the playbook is being written in real time — if you love experimenting, digging into numbers, and figuring out what makes people click, this role is for you. How will you spend your day? - Creating new funnel variations daily — landing pages, offers, and paywalls - Setting up and running A/B tests: launching experiments, tracking results, scaling what works - Analysing funnel data to find where users drop off and why - Coordinating with the marketing team on budget allocation and campaign performance - Following web2app and performance marketing trends and bringing new ideas to the table What we are looking for - An analytical mindset — you enjoy working with numbers and drawing conclusions from data - A test-and-learn approach: you form hypotheses about what will work and validate them with data - Interest in consumer psychology and what drives users to convert - Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies - Team spirit and good collaboration skills Nice to have - Experience with A/B testing, CRO, performance marketing, or subscription products - Familiarity with analytics tools (Amplitude, Tableau) - Any funnel or landing page you’ve built yourself — even as a side project, we’d love to see it What we offer - A new product and the opportunity to build, test and scale our web-to-app funnels from day one - Direct collaboration with the marketing, product, content and creative teams that ship the actual show — your funnels are the front door to it - Additional financial benefits based on annual success, such as a Christmas bonus, Easter bonus, summer bonus, as well as referral bonuses and covered transportation expenses - Work-life balance: we are dedicated to our work, but also understand the importance of flexibility, switching off and recharging. Based on that, we offer flexible working hours and a hybrid work model, with office days mandatory from Tuesday to Thursday. Each one of our teammates enjoys an hour-long lunch break and 24 days of annual leave. - We sponsor your monthly Multisport membership and offer you a free annual health check-up, healthy (and not so healthy) snacks, free lunch each day when working from the office and occasional discounts on various services and products. - Parents, you are included too! We got your back with kindergarten compensation and soon-to-be parents can look forward to a baby bonus! <strong id="docs-

Engineering Lead - Goodgame Empire

Negotiable

You'll lead engineering for the Empire Family – Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms , the flagship MMO strategy franchise of Goodgame Studios , a studio with over 200 million registered players and €1B+ in lifetime revenue. Two titles live for over a decade, generating significant revenue, consistently profitable, and a strategic core of Stillfront 's portfolio. Millions of players, always-on worlds, real impact when latency slips by 20 ms. This is not a side project. It's a key franchise you own the engineering for as it moves into its next growth phase. We're looking for a technical leader who ships and owns the whole picture: the architect and reviewer across backend and frontend, who also grows the engineers and the practices around them. You lead by setting direction and raising the bar, not by stepping away from the code. You don't have to be the deepest specialist in every layer, we have strong frontend and backend experts. We need the person who oversees both, connects them, and is accountable for the whole thing landing reliably and on time. Part of the leverage here is agentic. You and your team operate at many times the throughput of a classical engineering group by orchestrating AI agents, not typing every line. The agents do the volume, you stay the architect and the reviewer, and you set the standard for how that's done responsibly. YOUR MISSION - Lead engineering across backend and frontend: set technical direction, own delivery end-to-end, grow the team through mentoring and reviews that raise the bar. - Translate fuzzy business requirements into precise technical solutions that both humans and agents can execute, and deliver them reliably and on time. - Design and operate high-throughput, low-latency Java services (JDK 17+) on AWS, K8s, Terraform, ArgoCD, with MySQL and Redis layers handling millions of player rows. - Oversee the game frontend (HTML5, Adobe AIR / Unity) built by specialists: guide the architecture, review the work, keep it coherent with the backend. - Own CI/CD, observability, and on-call for what your team ships. - Define how the org adopts agentic practices: tooling, review standards, and what "done" means when an agent wrote most of the diff. YOUR PROFILE Leadership - Proven experience leading engineers (engineering lead, tech lead, or similar), accountable for a team's output, not just your own. - You grow people, make decisions under ambiguity, and keep a team shipping without becoming the bottleneck. Your standards on architecture, testing, and review set the tone. - You oversee backend and frontend without being the top specialist in each: you know enough to guide, review, and unblock. Technical skills - 6+ years backend Java, expert level. Distributed systems, concurrency, GC tuning, and SQL optimisation are second nature. - Deep AWS / cloud-native stack (K8s, Docker, Terraform). - Enough frontend/game-client fluency to lead it credibly a

Marketing Video Artist

Negotiable

We're looking for a Marketing Video Artist / Generalist to join the creative marketing team behind a new mobile 4X strategy game in development at Goodgame Studios, part of the Stillfront Group. Our marketing is creative-led. We acquire players through video and playable ads, and we hold our work to the standard of the best creative in the genre. This is a hands-on role that runs from brief to finished ad. You take the brief, build the scene in Unity, capture the footage, and deliver the cut. In this role you make most of the footage yourself rather than sourcing it, so you should be equally at home staging a lightweight scene in-engine and cutting it together in post. YOUR MISSION - Produce performance marketing video ads from brief to final delivery - Build lightweight scenes and minigames in Unity to stage and record footage. This is how most of the footage in the role gets made - Generate hook variations quickly and iterate on the concepts that work, paying close attention to the first three seconds - Use the best-performing ads in the genre as your quality benchmark - Bring provided 3D character assets into the engine, then stage, animate, and composite them into hooks that drive installs YOUR BACKSTORY - Hands-on Mobile Gaming Ads & Unity experience for in-engine ad production. Required - At least +3 years of experience in a similar role - Strong editing and motion graphics skills (After Effects, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve) - 3D pipeline knowledge (Blender, Maya, or similar) for importing, placing, lighting, and animating assets - A clear sense of what makes the first three seconds of an ad work - A fast, self-directed way of working. You give a brief a few options to react to rather than one guess - Develop a deep understanding of how your creations perform and why BIG PLUS - Experience in Idle Arcade genre - Comfort using AI tools in the production workflow (welcome and encouraged – just tell us where you used them) What You Can Expect - Full ownership of the ads you make, from concept through build to delivery - A new game heading into launch, where your creative helps decide who tries it - An environment where AI tools are welcome and you can use them without justifying it - A collaborative, international team at one of Europe's leading mobile and live-service game studios How We Hire Shortlisted candidates receive a three-task paid case study plus a short creative concept write-up. The tasks mirror the day-to-day work: a game analysis, a reverse-engineering of a reference ad, and the production of a short vertical ad using our assets. Please include a portfolio or reel with your application. We need to see video ads or comparable performance creative. About Goodgame Studios Goodgame Studios is known for data-driven game development and successful live-service strategy titles. We self-publish our games in-house with all relevant disciplines under one roof. Our studio is based in Hamburg, Germany, and we welcome applications from international candidates. Product Owner (Expert Product Manager)

Negotiable

As Product Owner (Expert Product Manager), you will take full operational, strategic, and commercial ownership (P&L) of our rapidly scaling resource management title launched in 2025. Originally built by leveraging and evolving a highly successful, market-validated core framework from our franchise portfolio, this title has adapted those proven mechanics into a massive new setting. Having experienced explosive growth over the past year, the project is now on track to transition into its next lifecycle phase as the standalone, premier flagship title of our entire franchise. To drive this next phase of growth, our game product and execution team is structured into two dedicated execution tracks, each powered by a specialized Product Manager (PM) and a dedicated Project Manager (PJM): - The LiveOps Track: Focused on live events, recurring monetization, and community-driven loops. - The Strategic Roadmap Track: Focused on deep feature development, core game loops, and long-term retention systems. As the Game GM/PO, you sit on top of these two tracks. You will act as the ultimate strategic orchestrator, functionally aligning and guiding these track-based PM/PJM dyads to translate our high-level franchise strategy into a unified, high-performing product engine. While the track PMs and PJMs own the day-to-day agile mechanics, scheduling, and sprint planning, you will focus on the high-level roadmap, commercial targets, and team priorities. You will work directly with your track PJMs to ensure roadmap feasibility and drive the overall production engine to meet our aligned fiscal goals. Note on Team Structure & Matrix Setup: To keep your focus 100% on product direction, strategic vision, and game growth, this role does not have direct HR/line reports, for the time being. Line management for the engineering, art, and design disciplines is handled by our studio discipline heads, and the track PMs report to the Director of LiveOps for their career development. The track-specific PJMs and PMs manage the day-to-day sprint scheduling and tactical execution, leaving you free to drive functional and strategic leadership to hit our P&L targets. YOUR MISSION 1. Product & Commercial Ownership (P&L) - P&L & Forecast Accountability: Take complete ownership of the game's commercial health, driving the production team to meet aligned financial goals. - Budget Alignment: Partner directly with the Head of Franchise (HoF) and Director of LiveOps (DoL) to define the annual budget and P&L goals (forecast) that align with our overarching franchise strategy. - Performance Tracking: Actively track progress against targets across the fiscal year (FY) and confidently implement course corrections as required to safeguard our commercial trajectory. - Team & Tooling Advocacy: Define the team and tooling needs of the game, collaborating closely with the HoF and DoL to secure resources. 2. Strategic Roadmap Design & Track Orchestration - Full Roadmap Ownership: Own the long-term product roadmap and prioritize the backlog to balance commercial beats with player engagement. - Functional Track Leadership: Set clear strategic goals, guardrails, and commercial frameworks for the LiveOps and Strategic Roadmap tracks, ensuring both pipelines are deeply synchronized. - High-Level Feasibility Partnering: Work directly with the track PMs to ensure the high-level roadmap and priorities are well-planned, feasible, and realistic given the team’s resources and constraints. - Strategic vs. Tactical Boundary: Empower t

Read LTV, retention, and ROAS fluently, and turn results into your next move. - Feed player insight back into product so the game keeps getting better. YOUR BACKSTORY - 5 to 7 years in mobile game marketing, ideally on a free to play or live ops title. Casual or simulation experience is a strong plus given BitLife's broad audience. - A track record of product marketing and launches that moved real numbers (i.e. installs, retention, revenue per drop, and pay conversion rates). - Comfortable with mobile metrics. You can read LTV, retention curves, and ROAS and act on them. You do not need to build the models yourself, but you know what they mean. - Fluency in BitLife's brand of humor. Dark, absurd, deadpan, meme-native. You can write in it and defend it. This is non-negotiable for the role. - Strong storytelling and positioning instincts. - Hands-on experience with creator, UGC, and social-first growth

Product Lead – Live Strategy Games (m/f/d)

Negotiable

Product Lead – Live Strategy Games (m/f/d) 📍 Hamburg (remote) | Full-time We are looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead to own the product vision and roadmap for Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms - two of Europe's most established strategy games with over 200 million players and more than 1 billion € in lifetime revenue. These are live service products with active player bases, real revenue, and decisions that matter immediately. We need someone who can hold the vision, read the numbers, and make the hard calls on what the product should be - then drive a cross-functional team to get there. If you are a senior product manager looking for a role with real ownership and long-term ambition, this role is for you. YOUR MISSION - Own the product roadmap for both Empire titles: set priorities, communicate rationale, and ensure strategy translates into shipped results - Be the final product voice on feature scope, economy design, and Live Ops direction - Lead and develop a multi-functional product team covering Game Design, Live Ops, and CRM WHAT YOU WILL DO - Develop a thorough understanding of both Empire titles and their competitive landscape; play the games, know the competitors, and bring that perspective into product decisions - Translate strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap; define requirements, success metrics, and the briefs that enable efficient execution - Approve concepts from Design, Live Ops, and CRM; make sure offers, campaigns, and sales calendars serve the roadmap and business targets - Maintain deep KPI fluency; spot opportunities and risks across the full product funnel, from acquisition to late-game engagement - Drive AI adoption across the product and design team; identify tools and workflows that raise output quality and speed - Lead and develop your team with disciplinary ownership and honest, development-focused feedback YOUR PROFILE - Proven track record in product management for live F2P games - Strong product sense with deep F2P monetization knowledge: you understand what drives player behaviour, can diagnose economy health, design offers, and reason about revenue levers directly - Experience with Live Ops and CRM as product levers, not just operational tasks; comfortable navigating data without depending on analysts for every answer - Decisive, aligned, and ownership-driven: you build buy-in without needing consensus, make calls at pace, and treat impact as your personal responsibility - Clear, direct communicator; you write crisp requirements and translate complex tradeoffs into simple choices for others - Genuine interest in developing the people around you; you invest in your team and give honest feedback - Deep conviction that AI is a force multiplier, not a nice-to-have; you use tools hands-on every day and actively push for meaningful adoption in the team WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Product is the core of what the Empire Family does - and this is the role that connects long-term strategy to what ships every week. You report directly to the Product Director, have real decision authority from day one, and work inside the product rather than alongside it. The Empire Family is in an active development phase with meaningful long-term projects on the horizon: a platform transition, a new continent launching in 2027, and a serious bid for renewed growth. There is real work here, and the scope to do it pro
